DixieT Roses In the Creek - I used Dina Pappas' method with a soft fusible backing that has a grid painted on it in 2 inch squares, making it easier to place each cut square and simply fold and sew a straight line. This quilt took FOREVER to make! Then, I got a crazy idea and decided to add my own touch with the roses, made of the yellow fabrics in the quilt, which I quickly tired of making after the first one, lol! The quilt turned out VERY heavy due to all the seams and the fusible backing, so I gave it to my stepmom who is always cold.
