DixieT Soccer Coach Tom Quilt - This quilt was created for my daughter's soccer coach. My best friend and I decided to have each team member use permanent marker to write a message on the white squares and we used the team colors in fabrics to surround each white block. I used freezer paper, a craft knife, light box, and fabric paint to trace the logo in the middle of the quilt. Tom the coach was very passionate about not getting monetary gifts from the team members, but when we all gathered around him to watch him open this gift he teared up and said his grandmother was a quilter and it meant a lot to him!
