Just need to sew the three sections together, add some beading, some embroidery, and some flowers beside my turtles. I'm hoping to get it done before our local quilt show next month. Not sure why the photo is sideways.
Shannon. This is absolutely beautiful. Nice embroidery work on the frogs and leaves. And I really like the background quilting you chose.
Oh! and I love the turtles.
I love seeing what creatures you all put into your habitats.
Keep the pictures coming!

This what I have so far. I still need to hand stitch my connecting strips in place, add some more beading, some hand embroidery, and some appliqued flowers next to my turtles. I added turtles instead of snails. I'm not much on painting so I decided to put my embroidery machine to good use on the frog panels.

I decided to just sketch my own version of the fish then appliquéd it all on with black thread & machine satin stitch to get the stained glass look.I'm really happy with it all so far.
Shannon! SO Gorgeous. The quilting is great and I adore the purple in the butterflies. What a great punch color that you can play with in future sections! I'm wowed. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring us all!
