Introducing the 2013 TQS Block of the Month designed by Sue Nickels and Pat Holly! It's called "TWO OF US" and was created by the two of them. The quilt measures 79" x 79" and was completed just in time for Houston.

I'm so excited!!! (Okay, 's not perfect, but who wants to be perfect? Then you have a reputation to live up to....) Month 4 is done!

Margo, I think I am in love with the circle technique. Is that wild or what? I'm over all my issues with circles in general and am so very grateful to you for sharing your technique. Bring 'em on!

I have an awful lot of left-over pieces from the centres of the big flowers so I may come up with something using them. But at the moment I am tending towards a pieced ribbon effect border.

Connie, my mother is very quotable. When we were kids if we didn't do something that she had asked us to do quick enough she would say "oh, do it yourself Pat!". (Her name is Pat, just in case anybody is wondering

) This has become a quote all 7 of her children use (usually in jest). But the funniest thing about it is that all my quilter friends now use it too and a friend of my daughter's also quotes it all the time.
