I think that it actually took me longer this month. There are 72 arcs by the time you do the inner arc and then the outter arc. It's a lot pinning! But they look so cute when you get them done. :D

I felt like this month went a little faster. Yes, there were 36 arcs to paper piece, but they were not as "fiddly" as the paper piecing in months 1 and 2. The curved piecing does require careful pinning, but after a couple of blocks I "got into the zone" and it really was fun and relaxing. Watched a lot of Netflix reruns this month! :D

Thanks girls for your comments, the grippers really are quite effective on the template plastic. Thanks Rita, that pic was taken last week for 46th wedding anniversary. By the way I like your new avatar also. :D

I've used them on my rulers but never gave a thought to templates. Thank you for the tip. What a great site where we can share, thank you ladies.

Dont' know whether or not anyone has suggested this before!! I found the Fabric Grips to be very useful attatched to the rather slippery template plastic. They stick onto your rulers or templates with tiny sand paper dots and help to stop them sliding whilst cutting your fabric. Hope this is of some use. :)
Thanks for the tip, I hope to find some at my local quilt shop and give it a try!

Yes, it's easier to sew the larger arc because it is a more gentle curve. Glad to hear that the starch didn't cause an issue manipulating the fabric.
