This is what I have used for years for circles. I've seen them in Staples and Office Depot but you can order them online too.

3/16" (.5 cm), 7/16" (1 cm), 9/16" (1 cm) and 11/16" (2 cm) the metric measurements are from the Accuquilt site, not my calculations. Susan, that reminds me of one of those "Murphy's Laws" relating to precision. It's one that me my dear father loved to quote: Measure with a micrometer; mark with chalk; cut with an axe! Hopefully we won't all be reaching for axes before the Two of Us is done!
BTW, I remember reading in Pat Holly's bio that she was an electron microscope technician in her past. Maybe the micrometer is not so far off base! :shock: |

A catch up note here, I can't believe I've only been gone over night to come back to such amazing stories.
Janie, congratulations! What can be more exciting than a grand-child!!!! Margo, I love the way your turned the points on month two sashing. I may have to be a copy-cat. Circles...omg, do we really think we can be so specific  :shock:  ? And we thought triangles were challenging. Step-by-step, inch-by-inch, or 3/8" by 3/8". Accuquilt won't be much help here. |
