Well, I've always been a day late and a dollar short, but what the heck, I'm here now. Back to the top of this thread, I have also noticed a decline in activity on TQS. And, truthfully, it kind of worries me. The HST exchange was incredibly good for activity in the TQS community, and I made a lot of wonderful friends, many if whom I have been blessed to meet at Houston Festival, and still stay in close contact with a few.
As to why I have not been as active as I used to be; I blame it on the gift of an IPad. I play games and am building up my boards on Pinterest. A major time consumer, but I am learning a lot. I have pinned so many wonderful machine quilting pictures, and looked at them so often, that I feel I could just jump right in and quilt just as good! Not! But, here is a sneak peak at some quilting that I have been doing on my 20 year old Janome.

Now to figure out how to quilt the border! It is a UFO from a Caryl Bryer Fallert class from Festival a few years ago.
Today I will go back and read all 8 pages of this thread and see what all of you are up to. I did see that Margo is up and running again, and that BJ, you are still having fun being creative. Your design is very nice!
