Congratulations Terrie re #6 grandchild!

Barb :D

ditto from me too.

Terrie, does that mean you get to wear your fascinator again or will you need a new one?

Red & white sounds good to me too - I could put it in the pile with my blue & white one to be finished.

I googled it, Annis! It sounds horrendous! Hope you can get those aches and pains under control. I'm reading the Forum almost daily, but have little to contribute. Trying like crazy to catch up with the BOM. I started in the Spring, I think--long, long after I should have. I am finally working on September, but hasn't October rolled in?? I don't like being behind the curve, but appreciate the pioneers who trouble shot the misprints!

I'm so glad to know that I am not the only one with loss of "mojo". This time of year generally make me depressed with everything dying. I need something to get me excited again and the red and white quilt is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I would love to take part in a block swap.

I think I've been "floxed". Google it if you want to know what it means. It hasn't slowed me down much. I've been busy getting ready for a retreat group coming to my country home tomorrow. Several people have asked if I ever get tired. By staying busy I can mostly ignore the aches and pains that I'm not used to having. Besides I have so much I need or want to do. Next I plan to catch up on a lot of bookkeeping. That will take awhile so am not sure when I will get back to quilting, but hopefully soon. It sounds like everyone is keeping busy.

I am in Ritzy's camp. Lost my mojo.

Could be because I am taking care of my mother a lot more now. Driving her to doctor appts, grocery and keeping up with her various ills. She is declining and it is very sad to watch. Also, my daughter, SIL and GS are staying with us which takes up sewing time. It is fun for them to be here, but tiring sometimes.

We got our first rain today and it's a good day to stay in sweats and sew.

Miss you all!

Cathy, Good luck with the surgery...a neighbour had her knee done 2 weeks ago and she is walking with one elbow stick ( is that what they are called???) and she is feeling fine.
With regard to the 396 2 1/2 inch squares ...do you know anyone with an Acuquilt cutter?
Good luck
Anne
