TOPIC: Where is everybody?

Re: Where is everybody? 28 Oct 2014 17:22 #122324

Terrie,

I love the idea of a red & white quilt. I've never done an exchange so I don't know what is feasible but I think maybe blocks all the same finished size would make it easier to put a quilt together when you have all the blocks. Keep me in mind if you get this started.

Don't know where to post this, but after seeing the video from TQS on the red and white quilts, I am now more interested than ever. I have finished my mug rugs, and I know everyone is busy, and Christmas is coming, and then the new BOM in January, so maybe it's not doable, but is anyone interested in doing some sort of red and white swap? What would your ideas be? Specific blocks? Same-sized blocks, random blocks, FQs/fabric. It could be done do-it-yourself style, as the Mug Rugs... and what about time frame? ..

or not?

Beverly thank you so much for providing a link to all of these houses and trees. They are now here forever (or until the forum is gone) for anybody to use at any time. I haven't done any of them myself (I made one of Edyta Sitar's farmhouse quilts for my sister recently though) but I am really pleased that you have provided a link to all of these so that I can dip into them at any time in the future. Many thanks. :D

Annis that sounds dreadful, you have my sympathy.

Joan, good luck with the eye surgery - sure you won't know yourself when you are finished.

Terrie, many congratulations and I look forward to the new hat.
