I made a short 8 inch sample after watching Margo's video to get a feel for the process and before I made the real one for my miniature quilt. It was great fun and I highly recommend the process. I loved all of the tricks and tips in her video! We love you Margo! :)

Oh, I've been wanting to do a binding like this and now with Margo's great video I feel I can.

Thanks, as always, Margo! You do such great teaching videos.

Fantastic Margo!

I'll file that away for another day - I especially liked the way you overlapped the tails, that's something I struggle with all the time!

Thanks!

I liked that part too Barb. I always manage to get my fabric twisted and end up redoing it numerous times! This was a great video tutorial. Thanks Margo.

No Rosemary it's not a word we use here. It seems to first appear in the American Dictionary around 1926. Seems to me that it's etymology is probably a melding of an English and a French word. Finagle sounds very French to my ear. We may be perceived by some as a nation of 'cute hoors' but we are not 'finaglers'! :D

Yep! Finagle:

1. finagle To obtain something desired by bargaining, wheedling, and dealing.

Or in this case, gluing and/or pinning!!
I have heard of 'finaigling' but always thought it was of irish origin :P - I guess not

I was pretty sure that it was uttered when I saw the first "take" of the back of the quilt and realized that it REALLY had to be re-done!
