Thanks for the kudos ladies! Just remember that matching your bobbin thread to the backing fabric looks lots better than one that contrasts!!

And...if you don't want any stitches on the back, you can always do the final stitching by hand! A ladder stitch or a small whip stitch will work just great, and then the flange will not be dimensional.

But...I love this for any quilt that will get a lot of use because it is very secure, and can be done fairly quickly.

I did one of these bindings a few months ago to try it out on a AAQI-sized quilt and it worked out well but I wish I had had your video when I set out to do it, Margo! Very nicely done!
