I'm so happy. I just got an email saying my kit was shipped. The downer is that we are leaving for vacation tomorrow. I hope my DBIL does not forget to check the mail and the porch for packages. It didn't say how it was shipped, so I will tell him to watch out for the UPS man too. Well, had better get back to packing, organizing, etc. Why does the woman have to do it all? He had better make sure the vehicle is clean and in running order.

I was lucky enough to get my order to Ricky in time to get on the list for the kit. I don't expect to receive it until the end of the month, so I will be behind in making it. That is fine with me because we are vacationing the next two weeks so will not get any quilting done anyway. I will take along some mags. and some hand project. I can't spend all my time in and on the water.

Wendy, your sketch look good. When I click on the photos they turn the right side up.
Do you use a smart phone to take pics? I discovered that if I turned it another way when taking a photo, the computer would see it upside down, so I know now how to hold the phone to avoid it.
Thanks for showing your project. I am tempted too, but I have to finish my 2011 BOM before starting a new big project.

There's no rush we've got until 21st July before the next lesson. I just got on with it today when I felt inspired and I just didn't feel like working.

Well I'm joining you Lotti and Kathy. The rhapsody quilts have fascinated me for a while and those shows are available now as well so I've drawn a pattern up using show one and am going to make an Egyptian Rhapsody, block of the month quilt I'll see if I can post pictures of my plan.

What are you two planning, are you going to try and sketch the kit quilt?

When I followed the original link posted for the kit, it didn't work. Going to http://www.rickytims.com works fine for me. Sadly due to high demand the kit is no longer available.

I too am having issues with accessing Ricky's site. If others are now or have had this issue and fixed it please let us know what you did. I miss checking in on the guys. Betty in steamy Florida
