TOPIC: Who knew????

02 Jul 2009 22:21 #36377

For those of you that can make it to Houston in mid-October to visit the quilt show (and The Quilt Show, come to think of it!), I can't wait to see you all! Margo is planning on coming too... we'll all have a blast catching up with each other, making new friends, seeing new faces... Awesome!

I just got the class catalog in the mail and am having show envy. No way we can go this year but oh do I wish :( Every quilter should go at least once. This year we are going to the Wisconsin Quilt Expo. That is really a lot of fun too. So every one who is going have just a super time

Hi, Sue. I will be coming to IQF this year with two quilting friends. This is my first time to come to the show. I am so excited. I hope to see some of the BOM friends. They are all so supportive.

This is also the first time I have ever made a block of the month quilt. Your instructions are just great. I have learned so much and it is just wonderful watching everyones quilt come together. They are just beautiful.

Happy Quilting,
Paula in Arkansas

Hi Sue: I'll be at the IQF, I live in Spring, TX so it's just a bus ride to get there. So far the temp here is 101, yikes, but it could go higher still. I'm caught up with the current BOM, am not posting the blocks since I purchased the fabulous kit at last year's IQF. I've been having a lot of fun with it so far, your instructions are so clear that it's hard to screw up even if I wanted to  See you in October then, Heidi

Sadly, I will not be in Houston this year, but already planning next year. Sue, now that I seem to be on track, this years' BOM is fun and I can't wait to see it come together. I have not posted my pictures for several months, but will be soon. Pat

And, Sue, I do have more done to my BOM than I have posted in the Show & Tell--It's a fun quilt to work on and I thank you again for your designs! :D Judy in Torrance

I've never been to Quilt Festival and have been trying to make it there for 5 years now. I'm hoping this will be the year. We're having some of that heat here too.

Yes, I heard that Sue. I'm from Houston (Sugar Land) and am in Georgia for the summer - and I'm NOT missing the heat! But am quilting. ha
