Hi everyone -
I just spent a while "cruising" through the BOM show and tell. Oh my gosh -- WHO KNEW there were so many wonderful color options for these blocks? It blows my mind! I hope you are all having a lot of fun with these blocks -- when you finally get to put them together, and the quilt starts taking shape again, I think you will be surprised at how lovely all these scrappy blocks look together. I can hardly wait to see the postings then! Keep up the good work, everyone. So far, I have not seen any of you daunted by the challenge of these thousands of pieces (has anyone counted them yet?!). You are all awesome!
By the way - I know it's early, but have you all thought about coming to Houston for the International Quilting Association show in mid-October? It is a quiltmaker's heaven... bring a full wallet, comfy shoes, endless energy... and you will see and learn more than you ever have before at a quilt show. TQS will have a booth and Alex and Ricky and their crew will be there, along with the Superior Thread group. And I'll be there, too! It would be fun to see some of you there. You can check out the show and the class schedule, with sign-ups starting soon, at
