TOPIC: DECEMBER BOMs

25 Dec 2008 12:17 #29957

It was quite appropriate for me to finish my December block on Christmas Day - birth of Jesus - new life - and another clean ct scan for Tina! Posted in my profile and also show and tell. Now I have to start on all of the thread painting, etc... which will take a while too so my finished one won't be up for a while. Merry Christmas to you all!

My December block is posted. I'm using a wet washcloth and lint roller to start the fraying process. It will look a little more frayed after it's washed. I hope none of the small pieces disappear in the wash, especially on the blocks that have all of those circles! My goal is to start with January and do 3 blocks a month so I can catch up. Maybe I will get it finished in time for our quilt show in May.

Yippee! I've finished my Dec BOM it's posted in Show & Tell and on my profile! I have also posted all of my other BOM's for the year in the Show & Tell site. I just can't believe it's been a year since we all started. I've learned so much! Now to get it sashed and a border put on!
Blessings,

Sorry Margo, I will try this weekend, being real busy, and not feeling up to par with my shoulder. I have the photos taken, but they are still on the camera.

Great block, you will have 2 great quilts. My blocks are all done, but my sashing is coming along very slow, around here. Just to much other things to do.
