Ann, some very good ideas. since I have put beads on now, items not of sewing would work then too.
Marge, the french knots are very nice, it really compliments your block.
Marguarita, I hadn't noticed how you outlined the stars before, That is a great look.

I've just finally looked at more of the August blocks that have been posted. Teri, your hankie center was a perfect match and such a sentimental addition to your block. Marge and Margo, I love the center of your vases, beautiful choices.
