I haven't started yet but am beginning to think that I will choose the black background and batiks. I want to needleturn and wonder if batiks would work. I really have got to get started on these. Can I use a mixture of batiks and cottons? Would the quilt police really notice? Judy in AZ

Those are cute little berries. What threw me was the word Feb. BOM beside the picture. Since I am not doing the BOMs, I was not that familiar although I have seen others. DUH!!!!!!!!!! I was not thinking. I do want to start the BOMs and be a BOMette, but still have way too may other BOMs to work on and would hand applique. I haven't yet picked out my fabric BUT have downloaded all of the patterns and hole punched them and put them in a binder so they won't get lost. Does that count for starting to be a BOMette? Judy in hot AZ where we are supposed to get some of the left over Dolly rain over the weekend.
