Welcome Candy! Margo is so wonderful and has posted a Webshots album showing everyone's completed blocks as well as excellent monthly tutorials. Here's a link so you can take a look....

I just joined the quilt show so I have printed the patterns and can't wait to get started. Still pondering my color scheme. Are pictures of blocks posted somewhere to see what you all have done?
Thanks
Candy

I love this idea. It makes for an easy way to look through and see everyones blocks along with a face.

Anyway, I am doing mine needle turn and from my stash. Other then the background fabric which I bought just for this project.
Doing whatever colors I feel look great, or the flower tells me to do them in.

I'm in too!! I have January through April finished, and May is well on its way. I purchased a background fabric from Connecting Threads, but other than that my whole thing is straight from the stash. I need to redo January because I did it as a test run to see if I would like needle turn before I got my background fabric. I'll just use the white background one for a throw pillow or a wall hanging maybe.

Count me in. I ordered the kit fabrics but am adding touches from my stash here and there. I'm doing needleturn and using different techniques with that each month. Knowing several ways to do things is very helpful depending on what pattern challenges each month presents. Unfortunately, I have fallen 2 months behind while putting all my sewing time towards my daughter's August wedding. Hope to have all those projects done by the end of June so I can get back to "fun" ones....mainly the BOM! I have the May and June patterns waiting on my cutting table. Sally in NE Ohio

I'm in. I purchased the background fabric, but the rest are from my stash (which keeps getting bigger, as I find fabrics that I think will make a great vase!). I started out doing raw-edge machine applique, but am switching to a turned-under technique using dissolvable paper. I am learning to like applique better than when I started.

I'm in, too. I am doing needle turn applique. I bought the background and the red and green fabrics. My vases are all blue and mostly from my stash. I am working on June and then will be caught up! Woohoo! This might be the first I finish within the same month.

BOM SQUAD 17 Jun 2008 21:44 #20232

I am in and am doing three versions of the BOM One is quite traditional but I am using fabrics from my stash and one line of fabric for the vases/baskets. The second one is black and white on an orange and brown background. I have seven of the first set (two of February because one is a small wall hanging for my niece) and six of the second set. The black and white I plan to do a quilt as you go with a black and white toile as the backing and black sashing and binding. Haven't decided if it will become a whole quilt or three or four separate pieces that I can use as wall hangings and or valances in my Texas home (have I said that even with two homes I am wall space challenged so many quilts become valances because there is no place else to hang them) I am also doing a miniature version in Brazilian and silk ribbon embroidery. One month is done two are within inches of being done and that means there are three more to finish (hopefully before July one so I can start July with a clean slate!!!!!) Will keep you posted on my progress in my member blog. too many other projects begging to be done and I started some new ones this week. No one ever said I was sane!!!!!

Ann (trying to have Christmas presents done by August 1 - will keep you posted on that progress too)

I'm in-- I think I'm the only one so far (on here anyway) doing it in a brown/pink combo. Don't know where I came up with that, but I'm lovin' it. Bought the background and all the border/sashing things we'll need later, getting most of the applique from my stash. Finished thru June (will post soon, I promise!) July looks like it might make up for how quick this one was!!
Florence

oh, forgot to say I'm doing needleturn with back-basting
