Another gorgeous block Margo! And thanks for the heads-up on the leaf!

I've posted my March BOM!! The leaf that Lilo mentioned is NOT CRITICAL to the look of the block. However, if you have already appliqued your block, and want to try to add the missing leaf, you may want to check out my tutorial (album #9) to see how I added mine. I didn't notice it until after I had stitched the stem in place. In fact, I had a couple of DO-OVER places on this block, but in spite of that, I still thoroughly enjoyed working it!
SEW LONG!

P.S. If you just need the revised stem, you can print out pages 5 & 6 of the pattern.

Hello everyone,

Margo found a small mistake in the March BOM. She has REALLY good eyes. The rose stem on the left side of the basket should have 4 leaves (on the left side-just up from the rose), but the pattern only gave three. So, we contacted Sue Garman. Sue sent a revision and Bob has updated the pattern.

Happy Stitching. We LOVE seeing what you all are doing-so many great color combinations!

Marge, I love your grey background! It is so great to see how everybody is using different fabrics to get a different look!

Marge, Beautiful March block. Your blocks look so nice together, I can really tell what your quilt is going to look like when you are finished. I love it.

Your block is beautiful Marge! And your garden looks about like mine does right now. Luckily we have the BOM flowers to make us smile while we wait for the real ones outside!

I have posted my March BOM. It was reassuring to hear Sue say last night that the blocks won't necessarily be getting progressively more difficult, because this one was more than enough challenge for me at this stage.

The past few days in Northeast Ohio have been icy, so staying in and working on the BOM was a great way to spend the days. I have also posted a photo of the icy garden in my profile. Much better to stay in and work on my quilt than deal with the ice!!

Marge watching the ice melt so that it can snow and sleet more tomorrow! Thanks goodness for this project!!

Sillygoose (Diane). I just looked at your profile and I really like your work. I especially like A Walk in the Woods and the one you made in QU about time (Now that I'm typing this my short term memory lost the name of that quilt  )

Welcome, SillyGoose!
If you go to the Daily Blog page, you will see a green column on the right side of the page. Scroll down to the picture of the TQS Block of the Month and click on it. That will take you to the page where you can download the patterns for January, February and March. Print out the directions and patterns from there. When you get your block done, post a picture on your profile and put a note here so we can see it! :D

I have been out of town and unable to read TQS. How do I get the patterns for the BOM?

I am doing 3 BOMs this year; I have always gotten the block done as soon as possible. My goal this year is to get all my UFOs done!

Rena, that is as far as I have gotten. Downloading the instructions for all of them. I have to finish a few more things like last year's Christmas present for my DS ( I made him one placemat and promised the rest by April when he comes to visit). And then, of course, I went to the yarn shop today and dropped another bundle and have another couple of projects to start. And then....if I would stop reading all of these blogs all of the time, I might have time to sew. :)
