Another gorgeous version, Annis! :D Could you please include the size of your quilts with your photos? People who haven't been following every post, and don't check the Show & Tell page, don't realize that you like to challenge yourself!

For those of you who don't keep track....this quilt now measures 11 inches!!!

I've finished month 3 on my mini and I'm happy with it. If you see any mistakes just take off your glasses or step back a few feet and they will disappear! I was afraid the corners weren't going to line up when I went to miter them but they are close enough for me. Now I'm on baby watch for the rest of the month. They're hoping tomorrow so it will make it easier on everyone. I'm guessing Monday since I have plans for that day that would have to be cancelled, but he will be worth it.

Dorothy, I love your colors! You did a beautiful job of picking out your colors and fabrics. So different from the examples and so beautiful. I just looked at your profile quilts and saw your 2009 BOM photo, also lovely. I'm glad you've persevered, keep going! I'm only getting started so I'm taking heart from seeing other people's wonderful work.

Anise & Dorothy, your quilts are looking fantastic.

I'm plugging along with the applique. I hope I get done by the end of March. I've been so busy this month that getting sewing time has been a challenge. I have everything ready to sew. My swags are done and I'm putting the roses on them now...about 1/3 done. Still have the corner blocks and assembly to do.

I was calculating how much I still have to do for March installment and have only two leaves, two berries, 8 corner flowers, center petals for 20 swags and corner connectors and 20 yellow yo-yos, floater border and install the swag border to complete the March BOM. With luck and a mostly free Saturday, I just might get it finished before April is posted (or shortly thereafter.) I dreaded all the applique this month, but with time (and lots of practice), I've gotten a little faster and more accomplished. I don't think I will dread another applique project and for that I thank Sue and her wonderful designs and TQS for this learning opportunity. (I might even go back to the 2008 BOM and make that quilt. It was beautiful, but I gave up.)

Thank you everyone for your kind comments I really needed them after this months struggles, those pesky swags nearly went in the bin I can tell you more than once  but I am quite pleased with them now. Dorothy UK

Dorothy, it looks GREAT!! I love the soft colors, and I'm glad you are stretching and growing! :D

After next month's border, you will just be making parts of borders and the final assembly won't happen until December!

You have done a great job. I like your subtle colors. I'm still working on mine. It takes time to make all the flowers even if I machine applique this month. I have the same problem with the size. I consider not sewing my borders on until later.

Every ones blocks look so perfect, this has been a really difficult month for me, and what a learning curve, I have never used glue or piped swags before but with Margo's wonderful tutorials I think I might have finally got there. thank you Margo for all the help you give us. Taking a photo was also difficult as one of my dogs insisted on being in on the act  the quilt is now getting to big to fit my design wall.

Annis, I love your Christmas version! I used to wonder why anyone would buy striped fabric for quilts, and after this BOM I finally get it!

I've posted my Christmas BOM in show and tell. I'm glad to have this month behind me. No more applique until September. That should give my fingers long enough to heal from all of that stab stitching through multiple layers! After next month I will be on my own on this quilt. The fun motifs will replace the baskets and I've added another border of them after the floaters which we aren't supposed to do until December so I will probably be doing that border in September instead. And I won't be working on the pieced swag border until everything else is done because I don't know what my dimensions are going to be. So I may get to take the summer off. That will give me more time to work on the mini which will have baskets but not as detailed as Sue's. I have the applique done on it and the strips are in the process of drying after washing out the glue. So it will be finished soon but not today. I'm hoping the corners line up when I go to miter them so I don't have to add any more details.

This is sooooo cute.....what a great job you did!!! You are very creative!
