One of my favorites!

I have music downloaded onto my computer. I listen to a wide range - don't like the same type all the time. I go from country to opera, classical to jazz, old favorites to blues, movie soundtracks to relaxing. I'm not really turned on to what the kids listen to. I really like some of what I listened to when I was a kid (we won't go back to how many years) Just as I like scrappy quilts, I like variety in music.

I also listen to Enya while up in my studio, but depending on what I am working on I also listen to favorite radio programs and lots of jazz!
I am hoping to get my daughters to help me download podcasts onto my ipod. I have listened to books on tape on road trips....

Audio books from the public library. I borrow anything I can find by P.G. Wodehouse. I am half way through a David Baldachi.

I don't enjoy audio books, unfortunately. My ADHD makes me zone out after a few minutes when I'm listening to anything or anyone. I like instrumentals, like a lot of Ricky's music. I can listen and not have the words going through my head. I've got a good lamp by the couch and I can go back and forth between the TV and my hand work.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond. I appreciate it. :D

I sometimes wish we had a "like" button here like they have on Facebook. Sanann, I like country music, too. I usually do my handwork in the evenings when I am watching TV. I also like to listen to talk radio while I sew and occasionally download audiobooks from the library. Guess it just depends on what my mood is at the time :D

Lately I have been listening to this american life on I Tunes. they have a topic and interview people around the states. Some stories are funny and others are sad, and some just make you think WHAT????. But today, it's Jason Mraz. This is for cleaning and need light happy music. Right now it's I'm Yours playing.

Cracker Barrel restaurants have an audio book exchange program. You must buy the first, but when you return it, you can either get the cost (less $3.49 for each week kept) back, or apply it to the purchase of the next book. The best part is you can buy and return at any location - don't have to return to the original one. In terms of music, I prefer classical, Broadway shows, and our very own Ricky Tims!

Definitely audiobooks! If I put on the tv I end up distracted and just sit looking at the tv instead of sewing. That way I can read and sew at the same time.

Wide variety of music that is upbeat. Creative Mojo podcast. I watch TV while sewing on binding.
