Great fabric Dorothy! Did you do piping, or is that a very narrow border inserted before the triangles? Looks great!

Dorothy,

So, are you saying this is not the actual piece that will be in your quilt? It is beautiful! Absolutely love the colors!

Still waiting for my Ricky Tims stable stuff so in the mean time I have been playing with scraps and machine appliqué, it was great fun.

I am amazed! Beautiful block and execution.
Thank you to all the ladies who have posted; it gives me motivation to be patient waiting for the Beloved Beauties kits to come in. I tried to order Stable STuff from Ricky's site, but it said that it was gone. How did you ladies get it ordered this week?

I don't know when you will be able to get Stable Stuff from Ricky's site. They are headed to Jacksonville for the Super Seminar which starts tomorrow then they are headed to Africa until the 27th. http://sewmanyplaces.com/tours/africa_0111.html

You might want to go ahead and order Sharon Schamber's stabilizer. I've used them both and think it's the same product.

Barbara, your block is just beautiful! I love your colors. I am really enjoying seeing pictures of everyone's blocks. I am busy sewing on my berries....I am so slow, but enjoying every minute of it.

Barbara, your block is simply stunning; beautiful fabrics with beautiful execution. I also appreciated you sharing your detailed process with us. I'm doing hand appliqué on my block, but I admit I'm starting to get a bit envious of all the lovely COMPLETED blocks being posted by the machine appliqué ladies!

Barbara,
Very, very nice!! I really like the not-quite-white bacground. Looks like it might be a batik? It's perfect!
