Alex -- it is lovely!!! The warmth of the brown fabric with the coolness of the blue fabric is strikening and fabulous looking. I also love the fabric in your setting triangles. Great job!!!

Thank you Nan for the link I will order some today, at least the sheets as they do not seem to have the wider stuff, and thank you to every one who has said such kind things about my block, and Margo I am so pleased the quilt police will allow me to change techniques in mid stream!! I erred. It was the yardage of the Stable Stuff that was out of stock, so I broke down and ordered the sheets so I get it soon. Thank you all for your help.

Dorothy, your block is beautiful!! Its interesting to see one in soft colours as some of the others we've seen have been in quite strong colours, but it sure looks good to the eye. It would be a shame not to use it in your quilt. I am still sorting my fabrics templates.

Oooo! Dorothy, it's lovely! I think if you're happy with it, you use it. Otherwise, make another and turn this one into a pillow.

I asked the quilt police and they assured me that it's legal for you to change techniques in mid stream! LOL!! I love what you have already done!

Now I am in a quandary as to what to do, I wanted to do Margo's machine appliqué with the stable stuff, but just had to get started so i did my old way with wonder under and blanket stitch, and a narrow crumb catcher instead of piping (no piping cord in house) just can't wait can I. I am liking how it has turned out now, so do I keep it as my centre block or do another one when my stable stuff finally gets to England.
