Congratulations, Nancy!!!!! How exciting! And Barbara, I'm envious. I got to go last year for the first time and I had a marvelous time! I can hardly wait to go again, but it won't be this year. Besides those things already mentioned, the Rotary Club also has a quilt show (and vendors!) and last year, they had a batch of the Hoffman Challenge quilts there, and those can be spectacular, too. The Episcopal Church has a lovely luncheon one day, and there was a lace-making demonstration there. I don't know if they have it every year. I think other churches have lunches other days. One thing I missed was Eleanor Burns's shops. I also missed the Yeiser Gallery, but I hear that usually has a nice textile show. Ricky's concert was fabulous! The Paper Pieces store (in Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry's former place) is just a block or so from the convention center. I imagine they'll have a nice display, and they're still carrying Caryl's fabric. One of the empty stores downtown is turned into a vendor mall, so watch for that. Just soak it all in and enjoy yourself!
