We decided to go to Paducah in October to get the "lay of the land", and be there when it isn't crazy with the quilt show. It is a pretty little town. Make sure you have a "grocery" list for Hancocks because it was overwhelming. My mind went blank when I opened the door, it's a huge store. Enjoy the show, trip, etc.

I won't be going, but my quilt will. If anyone would be willing to take some pictures for me, I'd really appreciate it! I was shocked that it was accepted and just can't afford the trip right now. It's called "Tea for Two":

Make sure you get a fresh strawberry short cake from the boy scout troop! They have a stand just outside of the quilt show every year.

I have my room booked, my plane tickets purchased and I am counting down the days until my very 1st visit. Can anyone add advise or sites to see other than the obvious show, museum etc? We rented a car on the advise of friends so we are mobile.
Thanks for your input!
