I'm so excited that so many are coming to Houston. I'd just like to remind you that if you are planning to attend the dinner to please let me know by emailing me at mailto:wanda@hal-comm.com or by sending me an email through TQS.

Your confirmation will be my reply to your email. So if you don't hear from me within 24 hours, please send a second email.

I have responded to all emails that I have received.

I will turn in the FINAL count on October 29.

Can't wait to see everyone!

The dinner is November 3rd and we will gather at 6:30.

You know cleaning the floor when the piece of applique you are looking for was tossed away. Organizing and never being able to find anything again...it is a really good thing he knows not to touch the scissors.

thanks bridget, just spent the last hour or so reading through the UGH 2010 posts - what fun - of course it makes me want to take the camera and post too... oh well another time... but now i better get to my ironing - if i never start i'll never be finished (at the moment i'd win the olympic event for messiest sewing area) - and i can't put the fabrics away before they're sorted - and can't sort them before they're ironed... excuses excuses excuses - and less than two weeks before august 1st which is the deadline i have set myself to get the apartment ready and capable of comfortably hosting my family visiting from canada

Thanks Lotti! You're correct. It's the Unable to Go to Houston Club. It's been in operation for a few years now. It's a fun group -- well, unless you count all the whining and pouting.
