I went to the award ceremony tonight and got to see all the first place winners and the Big Prize winners up close and personal. They are awesome! Saw Ricky, Alex, John, and Justin there, too. Just got home about 45 minutes ago, now off to bed.

Almost ready to go, decorating my badge to applique to my purse, dropping off my sewing machine for clean and service while I"m gone then off to pack a few items for the trip.

It'll be a busy day but at least I'm on vacation all week. I can take a cat nap today if needed.

See you in a few days!

I am driving over with a friend on Friday after work from San Antonio and I won't get in early enough to make the dinner Friday night. But I look forward to meeting folks at the TQS booth Saturday or Sunday at 1pm. We had such a good time at the show last year. I am looking forward to it.

I can't wait to see all of you. I've had to change the reservations at Josephine's to 7 pm on Friday. We have 7-8 on our list. I've sent an email to everyone on my list. There is still time to be added, let me know soon. I leave for Houston tomorrow morning.

The countdown is dwindling, but the house is clean and it is time to start packing. To all traveling to Houston, have a safe trip and see you there, Pat

For emailing me to let me know about this forum when I didn't know it existed! TQS sure does offer all of us a lot of info!

One more day of "work" and my sister and I will be on our way -- I am over the top excited! Hoping to meet all attending!

Thanks, Wanda. I'd really love to come, so maybe by that time I'll have a better feel how much time I need to spend in my SIL's booth, if I can find my way back to the hotel (my SIL said I can drive her car if needed), etc. I've turned into such a country bumpkin - no stoplights within 35 miles of my house - so the thought of driving in city traffic is a bit overwhelming. Hard to believe I used to be a city dweller. :D I will be looking for every opportunity I can to meet everyone! And I can't wait to see what next year's BOM looks like!!! I'm starting to get excited about the trip!

Hope to see you next week, will stop by the booth. In looking at your profile you have a Spool quilt in your pictures, I have one too!

How fun.

Wanda, how big is the list so far?

Sherry, sure hope we get to meet!

Now, Pat, I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to go about entering a quilt in a show! Honestly, I've never done it, and I don't even know how it works. I know you must have to send pictures or something because you don't send the quilt until you know you are in - right?

Maybe that's a topic for more than just me. :?
