Lorchen, the key word was "want" but still, 4.5 hours isn't bad. I live 1300 miles from my granddaughters ... I wish I could see them even once a month! Give Eva a hug from me! Best wishes, Robin
Robin, 'holding all the time' is a bit complicated by the distance (4.5 hours by car), but right now I'm aiming to make it every weekend - 'come hell or high water'.

WOW, I'm impressed Jacky!! Eva is named after her German grandmother.
She is now almost 9 days old, and it's been a 6 days since I have seen her. So I'm off to the South of London (4.5 hours drive) tomorrow to have another cuddle with her.

Congratulations Lorchen. Eva is a beautiful little girl with the power to charm everyone around her. Your quilt is just lovely and she will love it. I was present at the births of my 5 grandchildren and am still in awe of the whole thing. It is an honor to be there as they come into our families. Enjoy Eva.

Jeanine, at the moment Eva has only got one quilt, but she has also got two very light-weight blankets made from a super soft bamboo yarn - just right for a very young baby.
