It very, very soft and light. Her first quilt is waiting for her at home. I'm sure that the little wand-waving fairies in the centre of every block will bring Eva luck. Lorchen

After over 40 hours in labour, my first grandchild was delivered with the help of forceps on the 21st at 5.51am. My son and I were with Kerri the whole time. Little Eva Christine weighed in at 7 pounds and 9 ounces and is (of course) gorgeous. I'm now back home, exhausted, but I'll hopefully be fine for work in the morning.

I hope the links to two pictures will work. The first one was taken when Eva was just 2 hours old and the second one 9 hours later.

This Oma here can't stop grinning!
