Amo,

Ouch to the thumb! But the bag is beautiful.

BTW, you're not far away from me, in not-so-sunny Dorset, today at least.

The thumb is healing Maggie but I have a large collection of thick skin healing bits which make feeling a needle virtually impossible. Thank goodness Bob the Bernina doesn't mind. :D

Thank you Lorchen. The colours in the photo are a bit flat though. Perhaps I should convince Gregory to come over for a visit. :D :D

Hello everyone and worldwide Fabriceers!! I've just been washing drying, starching and pressing a whole batch of batiks in my knickers bags. This place has a lot to answer for! I've never pre washed in my life!!

My right hand thumb pad, you know the one that you seem to use most often when sewing, has been recovering from a nasty cut and a deep rose thorn that has left the tip in and so today I decided to add to the collection and burn it on the press. Well that's three things.

We have our Christmas picnic tomorrow and I was told on Tuesday that there is a competition to make a bag for it. Any shape, type or size. So I did. Pic in profile. :)

And before you all ask, the Christmas picnic is in the British monsoon season as opposed to the circus of the 'Christmas Do' one because it's more fun.

Saturday we have our Village Fete. Joy.

Sunday we have the Pedal Car Grand Prix. Fun! :D

Hope you all have something to look forward to this week end.

Re - Trinity Altar Frontal, Sst Peter & Paul, Buckingham

The dedication service went very well, fortunately it wasn't blessed with holy water (water marks on silk damask does not bear thinking about!) and the priest made much of my mother and the dedication and work that she had put into it. We estimate that a minimum of 3000 hours was taken up between the super frontal and the altar frontal and that does not include all the extra thinking and measuring time. Every one in the congregation we spoke to was highly impressed and thinks that it is magnificent, which it is.

My mum still doesn't really believe that she achieved it - the girl at school who had to re-do her tacking stitches because they were not even enough

A full write up will be appearing in Stories presently, and a finished picture is on my profile for now

Yours Rosemary

P.S. Just don't ask about the flat camara battery  and the spare at home!
