Rita, I'll keep your idea in mind, as my DH is retiring after this school year, and we are hoping for a trip to the UK. Looking at VRBO . Wouldn't it be nice to be your first guests? We'll be good, I promise. :D

I am working and playing in Dingle, Co. Kerry. I have a couple of concerts in Sept and Oct which I have to learn and relearn ( ) some material for, and this is a great place for peace and quiet. We have also been trying out the idea of renting out our guesthouse here by being the overflow for our neighbour's 4-star B&B. I have had the notion for a while of creating a quilting retreat here so this is a good way of testing whether I can cope with that or not. So far so good. :D I also have a gig this Friday in Dingle. Come on over!

All these pages and pages of chatter and I missed most of them because I never got a notification! :( Terry, watch out for the late night magnetic pull towards the 'return' button on your computer! Many's the slip....ask me how I know. I really want to do this challenge but I am away from home and don't have very much fabric with me. But I will try and come up with something. Really enjoying the banter folks. :D

No Wendy, but I've 'saved' the cart! I peeked at it last night...just peeked.

oops, I meant to say I have an idea for my yesterday quilt.

We've had a spectacular summer here in Maryland for the first time in two decades. It's hard to come indoors in balmy, breezy weather, so I'm not making as much progress on some projects as on others .

Enjoying reading all the posts. Lois, good for you. Connie - way to go!

I saw something the other day and got all excited about it and started going through my stash like a mad woman. Lois, I think I might have ADD too .
Things were flying all over with creative juices flowing and the thrill of '"Hey - I haven't tried that colourway yet". Then I joined a Craftsy class I've been waiting to go on sale, Boy, it feels good to be feeling good! I'm gonna get lots of stuff done, do a new quilt almost every day - just don't stop to eat or sleep. I even went to the computer and filled an on line cart with lots of new stuff (mostly Kaffe Fasset or B. Marbly - all great stuff) ..... and just as I was thinking about typing in my 'checkout' info - I had a moment.

The light bulb went on... and I saw my sewing room. Hard to describe, but I responded dutifully by then taking about 8 - 9 hours cleaning and organizing and I'm not finished yet. BUT I do feel good about it, and restrained myself from beginning a new project. Didn't I say I couldn't do the CW challenge, because I had too many UFOs and mug rugs to do? Yes, I did.

Well, three mug rug tops are done :D - not sure if I should finish all of them and then mail, or mail as I go?
