Wendy, what a fabulous mug rug. You are so right. Ritzy is a master of color and design. I share the smile on on your face. And perfect is not forbidden? Just not required! :D

Nancy--want to dance?? I would love to exchange with someone who retreats at Highlands and has pics with the Sleeping Indian in the background! Again, no pressure-- second or third or fourth round would be fine for me!

Hi Jane -

I would also love to add you to my list. I have 4 or 5 ahead of you, but hope to keep making progress. To be safe, I'd estimate Sept for my getting yours done.

Nancy

Jane-- It's going to take me some time to catch up with the commitments I have already made, but I'm now in sew-mode and I would love to exchange with you. Just getting a reservation in--no hurry!

And every visit to the mailbox is oh so exciting!
I don't mind the bills half as much if they are accompanied by a muggie ;)

I love this group of women I don't even know personally. Every morning I so look forward to the new posts and love to get a chuckle from you, Rosemary. Thank you all. And, if anyone would like to swap with me that hasn't yet, please let me know.

If we all waited until we'd made a "perfect" mug rug, no one would have received any, so please, don't stress as we all just love to send and receive them. Besides, if we use them as first intended, they would all end up stained with tea/coffee/juice and greasy stains from the brownies/cookies/cupcakes/scones. I just want to enjoy them.
If you turn mine over they are already tea/coffee/chocolate 'dyed' 8)

I so agree with what you all said. This has to be fun or we should quit it immediately. I find it touching to know that you sit out there thinking of me while you make my rug as well as I think of the receiver a lot, when I make mine. They are all very personal and I don't judge what is coming.
Sometimes I have friends coming here to sew and they used to say: I can't do the things you do. My answer has always been and will always be: I have been sewing for most of my life. The things I did 30 years ago were not like the things I do now. The current project leads to the next and you incorporate your knowledge in the next.
So the current project is always the best you can do at the moment. My friends have accepted it now and I'm so proud of them because they say yes to be challenged and they learn a lot from it.
So come on everyone to play. It's so much fun and these small projects allow you to experiment with whatever you want.

Lorchen, I can hardly wait
Rita, looking forward to your current masterpiece
