Lorchan, Congratulations on the new grand daughter. I hope she takes up quilting, because it will surely become her birthday trip with Oma to the FoQ in the future....

I am a little emotional, but very delighted to report that Eva has got a little sister, born at 5.30am. Mum and baby are fine and asleep now. Faye Hannelore weighed in at 8 pounds and has lots of dark hair and is - of course - beautiful.

Pictures as soon as I can sort it out. I'm a little challenged when it comes to technology.

I'm back at FoQ tomorrow the last three days, then back home for some serious 'granmothering'. :)

Charae and Nancy, I've added you both to my list. And Wendy, you are one lucky mugger--great chook, Ritzy, love all the colors. And Lorchen, careful driving so to enjoy the new one arriving so soon.

WooHoo! I am excited for you Lorchen! Let us know when that new baby gets here.
Wendy--I loved making that rooster for you--I like it so much because it made me smile (laugh) every time I looked at it. Glad you like it.

Looks like our last two posts crossed, Lorchen and I missed the good news. Congratulations on the baby coming and hope you are not overwhelmed by the back and forth!

Nancy--want to dance?? I would love to exchange with someone who retreats at Highlands and has pics with the Sleeping Indian in the background! Again, no pressure-- second or third or fourth round would be fine for me!

Love to!!

Never a dull moment....... So I arrived at FoQ last night. Spent today partly in a workshop, partly setting up a stand (the Guild's Traditional Group) and hanging quilts. Then found out halfway through the day that the Kerri was kept in hospital after a routine check and they have started a 'gentle' induction. So, I'm now in my hotel room, waiting for updates from Chris, and we can be quite certain that my new granddaughter will arrive sometime tomorrow, and I will drive back and forth between Birmingham and Nottingham.

In the run up to all this I managed to send a mug rug to the wrong lounge lizard, who is delighted because she can keep both of them. Soooooo, except for the wonky star, which has gone to the right person (I think), who have I forgotten?? I have apologies to give to someone, and then make another mug rug when I'm back home. Ah well...... that's life!!
