Funny you should mention that Renata, I actually do have a big concert on 20th December with rehearsals the week before - it's the final concert for Derry as City of Culture 2013. No pressure Rosemary!

Glad to get that off my chest.

Say it isn't so, Rosemary! Half the challenge is making the deadline, no matter what the obstacles! The good thing is that this is a group exhibition, not a competition! Come on, Rosemary, you can get yours in on time! :D Looking at Wendy's comment, looks like the impact could snowball! :(
PS Hope you don't have any gigs during the holiday season, along with lengthy rehearsals, Rita!

You still have almost a month Rosemary - your date for posting to me is 12th October. The max size for this quilt is 40"X40" and the minimum is 24"X24" it should be doable. I am supposed to post on to Wendy by 7th December. Just so you know the last posting date from Ireland to Britain is 18th December so if you delay by too much then it might be wiser to think of sending CW to Wendy first rather than me. Just a thought. :D

You ought to be able to do your own simplification

Well I hope Rita simplifies it again when it gets to her! Tell your DH to think of me

I'm sure the original dates will be fine as Maureen had built in a bit of slack for posting :D

Thank you for the nice comments it was fun to make. I didn't win anything but didn't expect to having just cut threads off rather than sew them in.

Wendy, I think your exhibition piece is wonderful too. I love the doodles and the quilting. Did you win a prize?

Wendy, Somehow I missed seeing your quilt here! it's lovely. Your handsdyes provide a wonderful background for that great quilting. Good job!

Still scrolling through the forums. Rosemary, I love your quilt, it is wonderful. I think it is far nicer than the one that won. Well done.

Wendy your quilt is wonderful as well. I admire you both for actually entering a quilt in a show.
