Jeesch!! Someone needs to check her links!! Thanks Michelle! Your link is what I meant! I've changed my post.

Resizing photos is really not difficult, and a lot of web sites require smaller photos if you want to post them.

Annie Jo, if you send me an email of the pic, I will resize it for you and I can post it for you and/or send it back to you. It's not hard to resize but I'd be happy to do it. I use a free website called http://www.resize.it Check it out and if you can do it, great! If not, I would be happy to do it for you.

Jo Ann, if you are using a PC you can reduce the size in MS Paint. (Sorry I can't help you with a MAC)
Let me know if you need help with that.

Or you can go to Resize It: http://www.resize.it/ and follow the 3 easy steps that are listed if your photo is a standard size.
If your photo has been cropped (I think yours has) just reduce it by one of the percentages.

Ok...here I am dealing, yet again with my love/hate relationship with computers!!! Someone else took this photo for me (with a fancy-dancy huge camera), he said he reduced it but maybe not enough since only half of it will download! The size is 311kb...how do I reduce it so it will open properly?

AnnieJo, Rosemary is right!! You haven't missed the deadline for the book, only the prototype!

Is anyone else only seeing 1/2 of AnnieJo's photo, or is it my computer? What I can see looks great!!

Sorry to hear the problems of those in NZ dealing with companies is often very bumpy for us little guys. I sure hope the road for this one becomes smoother in the months ahead!

Thank you Maryjo, some bumps are just bigger than others, aren't they.............
Unfortunately the insurance companies are now making it worse by not coming to the party and refusing some of their claims.
One of my recipients got their insurance money, were ready to finish rebuilding their kitchen, went to buy their new stove, fridge, etc. paid for the goods and waited for them to be delivered and the company went into receivership, so they even lost their insurance money and no goods. How's that. Grrrrr, makes me so cross.
Off to sewing now to finish off a couple of ufo's.
Cheers for now,
Louise

Louise we definitely need to see your quilts in the book. Glad you will now be able to get back to some personal quilting! You and your group are so caring for those who have had a bump in their life road.

Thanks Margo,
Quilts are all finished of course but the photos may not be quite up to standard and I can't do more as we don't have the quilts anymore.
I will send Carol the story.
Thanks,
Louise

I hope that Carol can make it work! I would love to see your quilts and read the entire story!
