Kim, your quilt is gorgeous, just like the rest. All so different and all so beautiful! I love them all.
I think I will have to go through my scraps and just make lots of hsts. I would never get finished making all the quilts I would like to make. I am very excited about the memory book. I can hardly wait to see all the beautiful quilts.

Thanks Margo! I knew you would be able to point me in the right direction. I printed off the instructions so I can reference them as needed. I will work on that later today when DH goes to work. Margo, what would we do without you? Thanks again.

In the meantime, here is Cathy's beautiful quilt!

Thanks for the compliments on my Medallion quilt....I, too, am loving all the variations from these little HSTs....I would love to have the time to spend the next several projects trying to emulate many of the others that you all have done! Can't wait for the finished book/DVD to come out to have them all in one place! Congratulations to all who have completed their project, and good luck to all of us still working on them.....the journey continues! Nancy

Loving all the quilts. Wasn't possible in my crazy world for September, but my quilt will be there in January! I have just purchased the background fabrics, but am being a little special... I want to wait until I finish paying for my new sewing machine, before I start! That should be in about 3 weeks... then I probably won't stick my head up out of the quilting room for a few weeks...

I finally finished the quilt top, hurray! It is 71" square.I will probably add prairie points to the binding after I quilt it. Originally I intended to put the design on point and add more borders so it could be used as a bed quilt, but now I think I want to keep it as a lap-sized quilt in honor of my sister-in-law who began her battle with breast cancer as I was working on this quilt. Thank you to everyone who participated in the friendship triangle exchange. You helped me to create something special

I will try again. This is my second attempt at posting a photo on this page. I know there is a post about how to do it, but too tired to look. I have been fighting with the camera, computer, and myself all evening. :( I finally sent my emails to Carol, posted a picture to my profile page, and I would like to do this before I go to bed. OK, it is almost 11:45 and I give up. If anyone wants to see my quilt, check my profile. At least I know how to put the pictures there now. I will try to add more tomorrow. Goodnight all! :)

WoW! Nancy ---> Chapeau! Your Medallion quilt is great! What a fanststic job! Bravo! (here in Quebec we say "Chapeau!" which means 'hat' in French. The expression 'Chapeau!" means I tip my hat to you!)

Wow....hopefully I just made the deadline for the TQS exchange prototype! Thanks to Margo for the reminder early-on about the importance of value in these scrappy quilts....I like others' scrappy creations but it is more difficult than it looks! Looking forward to getting this quilted and hung in my quilting room, as well as finishing the other two exchange projects....life keeps getting in the way! Nancy

I know what you mean Joan. I can't give these quilts away. I'm so sorry about your SIL. My condolences, prayers for you all but especially for your brother.
