Arlene,

I love, love, love your quilt and Margo's label. Two great quilting minds for sure!!!

I wanted a blue inner border but didn't like the way it looked so took it off and tried again.

Ritzy, your quilt is fantastic! And...so is Margo's label! That purple inner border is lovely. Great work!

Cheers,
Shirley

Who says you can't have the label on the front?

It's super 8) and trendy in the fashion world :P

Oh Ritzy! It looks fabulous! But I made the block for a label, not the center of the front!!

Thank you for taking on the Batiks R Us exchange! Hugs................

 Thanx, Rosemary! That puts a different spin on "my" interpretation of the original comment!

Soooo, I'm Shirley Forster and I'm an official Habitual "HST" Drunkard"...because I just finished my 4th 24" LeMoyne Star made from approximately 2/3rds of your precious HSTs, and it was totally intoxicating!! I'm glad I waited to work on my quilt because it was fun placing the name, face, personality, humor, fabulous ideas, colors, textures, and personal life stories attached to each HST. I was smiling from ear to ear the past 11 days when I was at my design board and sewing machine. All of your HST papers are taped onto 4 separate 24" sheets so I have a written permanent record of each beautiful HST! The 4 sheets will hang behind my wall quilt when it's finished! Now, comes more fun...the SSs and Rickys! Oh I just love being an HST addict!!!

Hugs,
Shirley

AND
thanks to PuritanPatcher for calling us all 'Sottt's' - a bunch of habitual drunkards

Margo, thanks for the very quick reply to my question. Debbie, thanks for the catchy name. I have never in the past wanted to be a part of an exchange and without this name I probably would not have paid attention and think of what I would have missed!!

I have an overdue question. Where did the name "sisterhood of the traveling triangles" come from? I have to admit the name is what got my attention and first made we want to become a part of this wonderful experience. Nice work to whoever came up with our title.

Credit for that title belongs to Debbie Wolf!! :D community/my-profile/NaneeWolf
