Hi ---just wondering what the 'infamous trash bags' are about? I thought I've been keeping pretty much up-to-date on this forum, but somehow must have missed the trash bag idea? I DO trust you, Debbie, but hope they don't happen to get mixed up with the real trash. (Like someone I heard of stored her quilt in a trash bag and her DH put it inthe goodwill pile, and it was gone! )- lesson we learned is not to store anything precious in a trash bag.
Because the packages are are all such odd shapes & sizes I decided the best way to transport the HSTs to the sorting location was by putting them in the 13-gallon kitchen Flex Trash Bags. Boxes were pretty much useless because they didn't hold enough and you couldn't put lids on them to stack 'em. My DH doesn't ever put the garbage out, so there's no worries there
! He also doesn't organize stuff for charity, so once again we're safe. I can live with those duties, but what I an trying to do is to get him to learn his way around the kitchen
once he retires so he can cook & I can quilt!!!
