I live in South Australia too - Toni has just convinced me to join in ;0) - I will order the papers today so I'll be ready when it starts - I always wanted to do some kind of exchange so I can't wait to get started!

Hi, Toni. So glad you're going to join us. We really want this to be an International event and now you'll be one of the furthest. We'll be posting more information here in the next day or two on how the exchange will be handled. My daughter and her family were living in Perth a couple of years ago and we had a chance to visit them for six weeks during Christmas. We enjoyed it so much...except for the very long plane trip...yuk! How long have you found it takes to get mail from the States? We want to provide enough time so that everyone, no matter where, can participate. Are you going to order papers or did you want to have me send some to you? Let me know what I can do to expedite things for you.

This sounds like a great idea! This is the first time I have posted anything so that says a lot! I will order my own papers however, I have not seen how they are done. I'm thinking it is easy so am not worried. Beth in Iowa
Debbie,
Actually, I have an ongoing challenge with my same friend where we save the scraps we create each day/week and exchange them with each other to create a new project from fabric we might not normally use. It has pushed me to use colors I'm not comfortable using. After years of fighting it I now really like all greens. Browns are next.

Hi NimbleThimble...sounds like you also need to put your scraps to use with some of Susan Carlson's beautiful designs too. I was really bummed because I had given all my tiny scraps away about a week before watching her show. One of our local quilt shops makes dog beds for a shelter and they ask for our scraps. But since it's going to a good cause, I can't be sorry. I'll just have to start cutting up fabric to make it work.

I just finished a Batik challenge with a girlfriend of mine. I was surprised at how many I had collected over the years (several large laundry baskets full). I'll order some of the triangle paper. Count me in as well. I can't wait to get started.

Just a reminder, if you do place an order with Edyta, be sure to order the 2" Triangle Exchange Paper for our exchange, not the 1.5" paper. The 2" paper is Item LBQ-0222.
