Hi - once you get it going - I would also be interested in a batik exchange.

I think this will all become a little clearer after watching Episode 802 this Monday with Edyta Sitar. It's all about tips for triangles and strips.

Oh, thanks Margo! I need to learn to check the main topic that a forum question is posted under! I usually do! Like I said - fuzzy head!

Dawn, this forum topic is under "Friendship Triangle Exchange". I think they are going to make half-square triangles to exchange from strips of batik fabrics, not just fat quarter exchanges. Hope that clears it up some!

Okay, you lost me! Is this batik exchange for a secific project? (Sorry, I have a fuzzy head from cold meds!) I do not understand "2 inch finished triangle paper. I DO understand 6 1/2" to 7" WOF.

I think if you are going to use the 2" finished triangle paper, you need a piece about 6 1/2" to 7" by WOF. The nice thing about using the paper is that everyone's comes out pretty much the same size and they are all nice and tidy.

This is a totally new concept to me! Sounds like fun! So, maybe you send 4 different fat quarters (Is a fat quarter enough?) to each person on the list, and pray everyone you sent them to sends you the same amount in return?

To get the exchange going someone is going to have to suggest how they want the exchange to be run. Ideas anyone?
