I was at an Applique Society meeting Saturday and am amazed at how many people still don't know about us! We have alot of work to do, don't we? Yes, it is nice to get input from each other, but I KNOW there has to be thousands of members out there with years of wisdom I'd like to build on! :) :!:

Maybe on a "slow news day" it can be the topic of the blog. Making it front page news might help remind folks that the boards are here and are useful!

You remember that old saying, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make her drink"? Maybe as folks visit here more, they will be more likely to jump in with questions and answers. I just know there are folks out there with lots of good info that we all would like to know. I think it's a little intimidating for some, having so many forums, but when they discover that "view posts since last visit" option, it's so much easier to keep up.

Hello All! I look at the forum alot and have posted comments and questions. I've noticed that I see the same few names all the time. It's cool to be familiar with the folks I "see" all the time, but there are 17,000 plus members! How do we get more participation??
