The binding is actually the backing brought over to the front, next time I will cross the corners over the other way around so they lay a bit neater when machining. Using one of the fancy stitches on my maching to sew the binding down means that slight wobbles don't show up
and is quicker than slip stitching by hand
the only hand stitching was using water soluble to baste the binding down, so even that comes out easy. I make the fast finish triangles separately and turn them through and even managed to get them sewn on whilst doing the binding. Makes for a lovely fast finish
