Ritzy,
So glad you like them. I will do another giveaway one of these days.
I hope everyone that visits follows by email notifications, or on Bloglovin. Then they'll know when that next giveaway happens.

Kathy, tried to find your post about iced tea but can't. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction? Can't drink anything alcoholic anymore so want something a bit more exciting than water when the rest of the party indulge in wine and cocktails
My favorite teas are Good Earth's Sweet & Spicy (black tea/caffeine or herbal versions with cinnamon) and Yogi Tea's Egyptian Licorice. Both are naturally sweet tasting and good either hot or cold. I have a hard time finding the Licorice tea at local stores, but I found it on Amazon.
Enjoy

Hi everyone! I just found this thread. I've had a busy July. I completed 2 quilts, a backpack and a wallet. All this while trying to quilt my Judy Neimeyer 4th of July quilt. I will be away in August but back in September. See you then unless I complete something next week.

Look at the beautiful hand-dyed fabric that I received today from Luann! Unfortunately, I don't think my camera does it justice. It IS really pretty!

Thank you Luann! The multi-colored one will have to hang where I can see it and it can inspire me!

Dorothy - those fabrics are yummy!
Kathy, tried to find your post about iced tea but can't. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction? Can't drink anything alcoholic anymore so want something a bit more exciting than water when the rest of the party indulge in wine and cocktails
Wendy - those coasters are great and excuse me for saying so but I think you did the right thing. They are much more interesting than the whole tree. I like Lotti's idea of mounting them separated a bit from each other. Your chicks have a grand life - pity not every animal can be so lucky and have you as "mum"
Luann - what a nightmare; fingers crossed for Friday when the experts come to assemble.
Only 3 more blocks to go and I've finished all the blocks for the quil-ket :woohoo: :silly:

I've never had my walking foot leave a mark on anything, and I use that foot more than any other. Might she need to clean her foot? It seems like the foot pressure would have to be pretty excessive to leave a mark.
Thanks for the idea Nancy - I will ask her if it is dirty. In my experience with Bernina they have all been very tight form the factory. On the old mechanical machines I have loosened the pressure myself but don't want to mess with other people's machine not even DDs' My Bernina 730 is never set to default either. I found out that I can get the teflon foot from my Husq/Viking machine to work on the Berninas so will give it to DD because she is much more likely to do things wiht laminated fabric. I'm not even sure if it was the feed dogs or the actual walking foot that produced the marks.

Ritzy,
Please take a moment every once in awhile to share a picture of the Grandkids. You will be the 'best kind of busy' there is!
May God bless you with a speedy recovery and lovely aromas to enjoy,
Luann

Taken with a quilters eye, you should make a quilt of it. I wish you A speedy recovery and clear channels. Sinus surgery is a fear of mine since I passed out in theatre watching op as a first year student.

Nancy I saw your grasses on your blog they're beautiful, better get a scythe if there's a risk later. My neighbours gardens like that and others complain but I think all the seed heads and all the flowers wild or otherwise are so beautiful.

Been watching Dusty Farrel, never mind his quilting I looked into his eyes
