Hello!
I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you!
I've been trying to post close ups of my quilt as some of you asked for them. But I am not able to post any pictures.

I am off on a dog sled adventure so will be gone for a few days. When I get back I'll try to figure out why all of a sudden I can't post any pictures!

Take care,

Geneva

Beautiful finish, Beverly! I love it!!

Your quilt is looking great, Carole. I just finished sewing the units together into blocks, so still have a ways to go on mine.

Beverly, your class project is terrific. Nice, nice work. Pretty colors.

Carole, your BH Mystery Quilt/ Grand illusion looks wonderful on your bed. I finally got all the patches sewn together. I have 2 blocks done. Seeing your quilt is inspiration I need. I was so busy with Christmas stuff I got very much behind. Love looking at your quilt.

Bonnie Hunter starts a new mystery at Quiltville.com every year the day after Thanksgiving. She also has a lot of free patterns at that same site, all of which are great for using up scraps! This year's mystery is EXTREMELY colorful, to say the least. Here's what my top looks like spread out, and on a bed. I've made a couple of sets of pillowcases to use with it.

I ended up adding a final border from the bird fabric to help pull all the colors together.

Geneva and Beverly I love both of your quilts. How nice to have finished a project already. I think I am jealous. :)
Carole, your quilt is so colorful. I love it. I wish I had heard about the mystery quilt earlier. I have been wanting to do one. I will have to keep watching and find one to do. From my stash of course. I am not buying any fabric unless it is to finish a project I have already started. :( :(

Looking good, everybody! I haven't finished anything yet in 2015, but I'm making progress. My Bonnie Hunter Grand Illusion mystery top is pieced, and it's under the needle of my Bernina 440, as I am making headway in trying to do an all-over feather meander with hooked feathers, based on those from Sally Terry's "Hooked on Feathers." So far, so good. I've started in the middle of this 94" square quilt, knowing that will be the hardest part, just so I can work toward the easier sections!
