Gridded McTavishing?

Angel-Haired Pasta?

Squiggly Triangles?

Do you see why I have a hard time naming quilts??? Not very creative!

Wonderful Nancy I love the colour. Your feather heart is beautiful. I'm afraid I'm still working on paper but improving.

Your background is interesting, have you named it?

Okay, my first finish for 2015 is just a pillow, but it was started and finished in the last week so that's good. This is my entry for the 2015 Free-Motion Quilting January Challenge:

The heart is quilted on a piece of Dupioni silk using FilTec Glide thread. The background is quilted using Superior Kimono #100 silk thread. I really like the background design, which I just made up as I sat down:

Wow! Thank you everyone!

I really like quilting using my walking foot and stitches from my Bernina. I'm not all that good at FMQ, so I try to use the walking foot all the time.

And, I must confess, I couldn't load the post on the forum because one of my pictures had a misspelling in the name of it! So, everyone, check that if you are having trouble posting. Thank you to tech Bob for helping me with this!

Wendy, in my original post about the quilt Rita replied that since I made that quilt by the middle of January that I should probably be able to do 2 a month! HA! That's why I was being so sarcastic. It'll never happen!

Just finished sewing the label on the rectangle quilt, so now I can send it off to New Jersey for my daughter's bridal shower. Wish I could be there to see when she opens it.

Have a great week everybody!

Geneva, love your quilt. Thanks so much for info re the pattern and book. This is just what I am looking for. Need a quick pattern to make a sofa quilt. My husband bought a taupe recliner, nothing else in my house is taupe, so need a quick pattern so I can spread that color around the room.
Wow, taupe fabric is hard to find. There goes my resolution to not start a new project! Janet

Rosemary, it's been my pleasure to support your embroidery and quilting needs. Better hurry and get any orders in before I leave
