Well--we don't know what they are yet(we are hoping for at least one of them being girl but we will be OK with healthy).
Your watch is a lot closer than mine which is a good thing since I have to make two quilts.

Ritzy, I'm on baby-watch also. The little man is due to arrive by April 7th. Is yours a boy or a girl?

The embroidery order was my DH's but there was nothing in the order that related to embroidery. That was just the name the company used on an auction site. Almost disappointed. It would have been fun to open a package. He should have changed the address to his name. Maybe I will take a few minutes and check out some designs to use on a quilt.

Very nice, Annis! I think it'll be wonderful to have a whole exhibit of red & white quilts, all different. How fun!

Hope you figure out the embroidery order....

My first red and white quilt top just needs a border as soon as I figure out what size to make it. I'm going to make 25 of these to hang high on the wall on 2 sides of my retreat center work area to hide some ugliness where the sheet rock didn't extend to the ceiling. My DH thought I should make duplicate quilts for each side but I want all of them to be different. I won't have any trouble coming up with that many different patterns, all I need is more time! I couldn't resist using some of the extra squares I cut to make a few miniature blocks. These will be put aside for now but I think I will have enough to make 2 miniature quilts with 3 1/2" and 2 1/2" block sizes if that's what I choose to do with them.

I'm curious to see what I get in the mail today from Embroidery Arts. I did not order anything from them that I remember and my DH says he didn't either but there is a charge on my credit card and UPS says it will be delivered today. I haven't asked my DD if she knows anything about it. Maybe it's a hint that I should use my embroidery machine to make some blocks for a red and white quilt. And maybe my New Year's Resolution should be to change passwords on all of my online accounts.

I've started playing with my red and white fabrics. The first thing I did wrong was cut a set of strips the wrong width. Then after cutting all of the squares I realized I cut enough for 15 blocks when I only needed 10, after I recut the strips that I had cut wrong! My drawing was in the other room so I didn't take time to look at it. Now I get to choose my favorites. This is 6 of the blocks that will look slightly different after the seams are sewn.

My DD is slowly showing signs of improvements. She was told it could take a few more months before things will get back closer to normal. My sister helped her on Monday and my DD was so pleased with her work she "fired" me and hired her (just kidding). I'm still needed 1 day a week and for doctor appointments. I knew my sister would do a great job as her grandchildren lived with her for quite a few years. She will be helping 2 days a week which gives me a break to get back to working on the retreat center.

My DSIL is finally on the road to recovery. Sadly the Rehab center she was at was not able to give her proper care. Thankfully my son was there when the aid came in to give her a pill she didn't need. He questioned it, as she was having a hard time opening her eyes, and they brought in the nurse who immediately called for an ambulance to get her back to the hospital. Today she is on the way to a new Rehab center and in much better spirits. My sister has been helping with her too. Nursing home care was something she did years ago. Now I can get back to what I do best. This weekend I will be quilting another bed runner and maybe a twin size quilt. Then it's time to start making a list of all the things I will need for the retreat center.

Wendy, I have a day retreat scheduled for the end of the month. Hoping I don't have to cancel. Since it's only 2 miles from my house in town I will be close by if needed anyway.

Ritzy we can always do the virtual one. Annis I don't know how you are going to feel running retreats when you really do need one yourself. Having this lot with you would be so much fun. :)

Terrie, I think "Dropbox " is the movie my DD told me about. I am wanting to see it. Let us know how it is. I don't get to the movies very often. By the time I get ready to go the movie I have been wanting to see, it is not longer showing.

Wendy--you can keep the warts (such strange sayings you have ;) !) I just want to see Terrie's work. I would love to do a retreat too. Wonder if we could ever pull it off. Of course I am on baby watch and don't know how many trips will need to be made to Missouri this year so I guess I will just have to dream while I am cuddling babies. Oh the sacrifices you have to make as a gram. snort, snort :woohoo:

I'd love to have everyone here for a retreat. Maybe even invite a few national teachers. I can pretty much guarantee there won't be any ice/snow between April and October, but then there are tornadoes, flash floods, and heat waves to deal with. But most of the time the weather is tolerable if not great. The beef broth is cooking and I'm getting ready to focus on bookkeeping again. So much to do, so little time.
