Some years ago I took a class with Billie Louder who showed a way to make the square in a corner with two half square triangles with the larger triangle--and I think we made them two at a time---like the flying geese method making four at a time. I have hunted through my notes to find my notes but not successful. Looking at the block in the Kaffe quilt no 108, it would be faster and easier to make the parts this way, Do you know what I am talking about?

My blocks so far, I decided on a strippy quilt but want to try it on the diagonal too! More blocks to make anyway. Just had a horrendous storm so staying downstairs for now.
Having problem loading my photos but I’ll try again.
I always line up by color according to color wheel (YORPBG) with tertiaries and pastels (pink, lavender, aqua) in between before mixing them in the quilt. My next step is to mix the blocks with the Kaffe print corners.). THEN stand back and look through your camera lens. Which color jumps out to you?
