It's back! The Ricky Tims Five Fabric Challenge 2013 is under way and Ricky really wants to see what you can do. The basic idea is that you use five yards of Ricky's hand-dyed fabrics to create a quilt based on your original design. Of course there is a bit more to it than that so click here for the rules.
Cost for submitting is free.
Entries must be submitted online between March 15 and March 31, 2013.
You may enter as many times as you like, but each online submission is for one entry.

Allison Lockwood's quilt, seen here at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, was inspired by a trip to Thailand in 2004. She hand appliqued, hand quilted, and hand embellished the entire quilt. In 2010, Sue Nickels was one of the featured artists at Quilting in the Garden at the Alden Lane Nursery in Livermore, CA. Sue brought along a number of her quilts, as well as quilts she created with her sister, Pat Holly. Seeing these lovely quilts gently swaying in the breeze was quite thrilling and truly inspirational.
