Linda Waddle tried to save a failed sunprinting endeavor and used the opportunity to experiment using bleach and Procion dyes. We think her experiment ended quite well.

Sunflowers was on display in the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018 as part of the Surface Design exhibit.

Today we continue our selection of quilts recently displayed at the Spring Paducah 2019 show featured as part of The 14th Quilt Nihon Exhibition. The exhibit is described as:

"Organized by the Japan Handicraft Instructors' Association, the Quilt Nihon Exhibition is one of the most prestigious international quilt contests in Japan. The exhibit features 42 quilts from the "Innovative Traditional" category, which will later be exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art."

Betty Hahn does and she creates stunning quilts. Betty "painted" the quilt on her iPad and then had it printed on fabric. Then she took to quilting and embellishing it. The stunningly bright colors take this wholecloth quilt to another level.    

Revival was on display at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2018 as part of the Surface Design exhibit.
