Cassandra Ireland Beaver won 1st Place two years in a row with her straight-line quilting. So what did she do next? How about "No Straight-Line Quilting." This quilt, titled iSpy, is 44" x 48" and was entered in the Small Wall Quilts - Quilters Choice category at AQS Paducah Spring 2017. The quilt is square, but I didn't see any other straight lines.

Alex is always busy at quilt shows and regrets that she doesn't always have time to see the quilts. However, this quilt stopped her as she ran from one venue to another. Jacquelyn (Jaki) Rowe entered in Paducah 2017 this 60" x 76" Modern Quilt entitled Slice (Variation). The bold graphics are a variation of the Slice Pattern by Marjorie Rhine of Quilt Design NW.
